Battery Ordinance

In compliance with §12 of the ordinance on the return and disposal of used batteries and rechargeable batteries, we would like to point out to you that in respect of used batteries and rechargeable batteries of devices purchased from us, it is our statutory obligation to also take them back.

It is not allowed to dispose of batteries in the normal household waste. As end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. You can either hand in used batteries at the place where you bought them or in your immediate vicinity (e.g. at communal collection points or the trade in general), free of charge. You may also return PowerPacks by E-Bike Vision to us, packaged up appropriately and postage prepaid to this address:

Batteries or rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with a dustbin crossed out as shown in the two following pictures (pictures may vary). Next to the dustbin symbol you will find the chemical designation of the hazardous substance. “Cd“ stands for cadmium, “Pb“ for lead, and “Hg“ for mercury.
